- S Tier 3v3 Comps
- A Tier 3v3 Comps
- B Tier 3v3 Comps
- C Tier 3v3 Comps
This guide was made in collaboration with multiple current Rank 1 Gladiators, but is designed to represent the entire arena ladder.
To help understand how these rankings work, we assume the following:
S tier compsare expected to have the highest winrate against equally skilled opponents.
A tier compsare expected to have positive winrates against equally skilled opponents.
B tier compsrepresent the “average” comp, and have a relatively equal distribution of winning and losing matchups
C tier compsare generally weak into the meta and are expected to lose against most higher tier comps
A visual representation can be foundhere.
Other important notes:
This list is an ongoing project and will be updated periodically
If you don’t see a comp listed, it MIGHT beweaker than C tier, but could also mean that it istoo experimental to properly rankor simply an oversight.
For the most part, Resto Druid and Preservation Evoker can fit into any comp and do well, and “Preferred Healer(s)” represents what works best on average within a comp
S Tier 3v3 Comps
|Comp name||DPS 1||DPS 2||Preferred Healer(s)|
|RMX||Assassination Rogue||Arcane Mage||Disc Priest or Restoration Druid > Preservation Evoker > Holy Paladin|
|RPX||Assassination Rogue||Shadow Priest||All healers except Holy Priest and MW Monk|
At the moment, both RMX and RPX seem to be the most consistent comps in the meta. The power of Assassination Rogue is amplified with the explosive damage and control toolkit of Arcane Mages, or the tempo setting power of Shadow Priests. Each one of these setups have proven to excel in ranked 3v3, especially at the highest level where they have have had great showings so far in the AWC.

*more consistency with high tier healers
The A tier is relatively stacked at the moment, and includes a few different Demon Hunter and Unholy DK setups. Both of these DPS continue to do well in meta, despite a few key nerfs in the early season. Beyond this we have some other Assassination Rogue comps and miscellaneous fan favorites. Right now, Demo seems marginally better than Destro for most Warlock comp variations, but Destro definitely has had a surge in representation after 10.0.5 tuning.
B Tier 3v3 Comps

DH Mage: Havoc Demon Hunter / Arcane Mage / Restoration Druid or Preservation Evoker
Shadowplay (MW): Demonology Warlock / Shadow Priest / Mistweaver Monk
Brewmaster War: Brewmaster Monk / Arms Warrior / Mistweaver Monk
The B tier includes many off-spec variations of A tier comps, including Outlaw Rogue and Affliction Warlock setups. Again, this tier is meant to represent the “average” comp and is neither too good or too bad to excel in the current meta. Many of these comps are being played actively at Rank 1 levels, despite noticeable weaknesses.
C Tier 3v3 Comps
Turbocleave: Enhancement Shaman / Arms Warrior / Preservation Evoker or Restoration Druid > Disc Priest or Holy Paladin
Enh Assa: Enhancement Shaman / Assassination Rogue / Preservation Evoker or Restoration Druid > Disc Priest or Holy Paladin
Enh WW: Enhancement Shaman / Windwalker Monk / Preservation Evoker or Restoration Druid > Disc Priest or Holy Paladin
Cupid/PHP: Retribution Paladin / Beast Mastery or Survival Hunter + Disc Priest or Preservation Evoker

DK SP: Unholy Death Knight / Shadow Priest / Preservation Evoker
WMX: Arms or Fury Warrior + Arcane Mage / Restoration Druid > Preservation Evoker
Ele Mage: Elemental Shaman / Frost Mage / Restoration Druid > Preservation Evoker
FMX: Feral Druid / Arcane Mage / Disc Priest or Preservation Evoker
KFC: Arms or Fury Warrior / Beast Mastery Hunter / Preservation Evoker > Restoration Druid
Hunter Mage: Arcane Mage / Beast Mastery Hunter / Preservation Evoker
C tier comps are generally underperforming and include some of the lower tier DPS (Enhancement Shamans and Marksmanship Hunters). While some people might find success with some of these setups, they are generally inconsistent into the majority of higher tier comps.

Nothing that a typical Rogue does uses Strength. However, you're not forced to use Dexterity to make Sneak Attacks so long as you use a suitable weapon, so Strength-based rogues are technically possible. It's usually a bad idea, but it is absolutely possible. What ability score is best for rogue? ›
Rogue Ability Scores
With very few exceptions, Dexterity is always going to be the ability score you'll want as high as possible. The attacks you'll be making rely on Dexterity, and you'll likely be wearing light armor which will be enhanced by a high Dexterity score.
Swords are better for combat AND subtlety. With combat, the other weapons cannot compete with sword spec. This is because the superior main hand gets all extra swings regardless of which hand triggers the talent. With subtlety, you still want a slower main hand because of ghost/hemo.
Rogues are hard to play and it requires something that most other classes do not need. Smarts. A while back, rogues were the least played class for a few years. This wasn't because they were weak or have crappy skills, it was because it required you to use the skills they gave you correctly or else you would be dead.Do rogues need high Charisma? ›

Fury and Arms are both solid in solo content and can deal out a lot of damage with their various abilities. They both also have plenty of sustain to get through their enemies without having to slow down.
Best Leveling Spec for Mage in Dragonflight
We recommend Frost for most of your Mage Leveling needs. This is because almost all spells of Frost will slow or root your targets, allowing you to kite very easily. It also has a lot of burst damage for low health enemies which allow you to quickly kill most quest mobs.

Priests have three specializations to choose from while leveling: Shadow, Holy, or Discipline. Generally speaking you should always level as Shadow since it is the only DPS specialization and therefore much faster.
